OUR STORY
Organising for Change was co-founded in 2017 by three women - Tatiana Garavito, Kat Wall & Natasha Adams.
We saw that although ‘organising’ was becoming increasingly popular in the UK, it was mostly at the level of a buzzword added to approaches and job roles.
While many working for social change were talking about organising, few were doing it well.
We decided to start a training collective to plug that gap.
Since 2017 we have run four trainings, training over 100 activists from grassroots groups, NGOs, unions and others across the movement.
We charge on a sliding scale and offer free places to those who could not otherwise afford to attend as we want our training to be accessible to everyone who might benefit from it.
