ORGANISING FOR CHANGE
Training to build power and change culture
ABOUT
We are Organising for Change; a collective that builds the capacity of those working for a co-created, equitable society which respects and makes space for multiple cultures and is rooted in the principles of environmental, racial and social justice.
OUR STORY
Everyone is talking about organising but few are doing it well - we want our training to change that
OUR PEOPLE
Tatiana Garavito, Kat Wall and Natasha Adams founded Organising for Change in 2017
OUR VISION
A co-created, equitable society which respects and makes space for multiple cultures, and is rooted in the principles of environmental, racial and social justice
“Get yourself and your organisation on this course! It was an incredibly rich and rewarding weekend, well held and superbly delivered, it left me feeling enthused, empowered and abuzz with optimism!”
OUR TRAINING
We offer a core three day ‘Organising for Change’ training for campaigners from grassroots groups and NGOs which focuses on:
1. Seeding the open, inclusive and liberatory culture we want to see in the world
2. The basics of organising
3. Putting organising at the heart of campaigns for change
“I came away from the training feeling inspired by the things I'd learnt and supported by the people I'd met. I can't wait to put what I've learnt into practice.”
OUR APPROACH
It’s time to build alternative sources of power to win the world we want, rather than just targeting existing power structures with the same tired tactics. An organising approach is needed more now than ever before – to build power, sustain momentum, shift public opinion and seed a new culture. And our approach provides a training that can support you to do this vital work.
